# Snaps guides

> Snaps is a free library of real App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store screenshots, not a screenshot generator or editor.

## Guides
- [Prepare App Store screenshots: an iPhone & iPad checklist](https://snaps.design/guides/app-store-screenshot-sizes/): An export and upload-review workflow for iPhone and iPad, not a complete dimension table.
- [Prepare Google Play screenshots: a device review checklist](https://snaps.design/guides/google-play-screenshot-requirements/): Organize device-specific checks and distinguish requirements from recommendations; not a full dimensional matrix.
- [Turn screenshot inspiration into a testable storyboard](https://snaps.design/guides/app-store-screenshot-design/): A practical method for translating references into a clear, original App Store screenshot sequence.
- [Research competitor app screenshots without copying](https://snaps.design/guides/app-screenshot-competitor-research/): Create a comparable reference set, separate evidence from assumptions, and write an original brief.
- [Find screenshot and OG references with Snaps MCP](https://snaps.design/guides/snaps-mcp-screenshot-og-prompts/): A source-first prompt workflow for app screenshots, device filters and Open Graph history.
- [Figma screenshot references: an evidence-led MCP brief](https://snaps.design/guides/figma-screenshot-og-reference-study/): Inspect Figma references on Snaps, separate device coverage from observations, and refine your research prompts.

## Limitations
Search and collections require JavaScript according to the product homepage. Snaps does not create, edit, localize or validate screenshot files. Reference images do not prove conversion performance, compliance or reuse rights. Coverage is not exhaustive; no complete historical archive, update SLA or API limits are promised here. Store requirements can change. Consult Apple and Google primary sources linked in each article. This file is an optional reading aid, not an indexing or ranking guarantee.
